The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort, Willemstad

My stay at the hotel was a mix of great and not-so-great experiences. The rooms, though spacious and clean, didn't match the balcony view as advertised. On the upside, I had a package of coffee to use in the coffee maker and enjoyed a view of the dolphin academy's amazing show. The service, while efficient with various offerings, felt a bit odd when tips were requested despite a mandatory gratuity fee in place. The location was fantastic, with easy access to restaurants and the Sea Aquarium, but the private beach area wasn't as private as expected. Dining options were limited, and the balcony tended to stay wet for days after rainfall. However, the hotel facilities were decent overall.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The rooms were excellent, spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with two queen-size beds - just what we needed to feel at home. The staff was wonderful and friendly, always going above and beyond to make sure we had the most enjoyable time possible. The location was superb, close to the sea aquarium and dolphin academy. The dining experience was excellent, with plenty of choices, but it's worth walking to Hemingways nearby for some variety. Overall, great value for the price paid.

The hotel has a prime location with easy access to Mambo Beach and various activities. The rooms provide a 'dolphin view' and are ready by 3 pm. The service is excellent and offers a range of helpful amenities. However, the dining options may not meet expectations.
